Dewry DuRoi Bradford's profile

"FASHION & MUSIC... MY LOVE, MY LUST"

FASHION DESIGNER:
In 1999, Dewry DuRoi Bradford set out to pursue a career in fashion.  After attending the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) in New York City, he officially launched his career in fashion.  His very first collection was for the famed music group Wu-Tang which he created and developed their brand “Wu-Wear” with then creative designer, Kevin Leong.  From there, he created and designed collections for various celebrities such as Outkast, J-Lo, Nelson Mandela, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jay-Z, Fabolous, Michael Vick, Richie Rich, Vinnie from Naughty by Nature and Russell Simmons.

Mr. Bradford enjoyed years of success in lifestyle-outerwear as Creative Director of Sean John, Ecko International, Steve Madden and Phat Farm. In 2005, after head designing for a number of brands, Mr. Bradford launched ASQUI LLC that became the force behind many of the ready to wear collections today.  Quickly making a favorable stamp in the Fashion Industry as an expert Outerwear and Leather Designer, Dewry set his sights on the Athletic aspect of the Fashion Industry.  He acquired deals with conglomerates such as Americo/Highlife to manage the K1X, And-1, Protégé’ and Michael Vick brands.  Underneath the Pirigi Group, he designed for Puma Kids.  Mr. Bradford was notably chosen in 2012 to present a collection of new directional designs to Brand Jordan’s executive team in Portland, Oregon.

In 2020, Dewry Bradford partnered with New York Fashion & Jewelry Designer - Phil Harris to launch the ready to wear collection called CorDuRoi.  Stay tuned and follow their journey as they focus their efforts on mental health issues while creating a stunning collection for the fashion lover both mens and womens wear.

BRANDING DIRECTOR:
Under the ASQUI LLC umbrella, which later became ASQUI Ventures, Mr. Bradford cultivated many brands and launched new collections annually. He repurposed his knowledge, skills and relationships to manage celebrities from a branding aspect.  Mr. Bradford’s past clients include Marvel – The Avengers, UFC, Alice + Olivia, Heatherette, Popluxe and BET’s 106&Park just to name a few.  During Mr. Bradford’s time as head designer of Sean John, Sean “Diddy” Combs received the CFDA Men’s designer of the year award for his Sean John Collection.

As a visionary and creative, Mr. Bradford, through ASQUI Ventures, forges strategic partnerships with existing fashion brands such as Fourfront, One Wonder and Design & Co; Concert Promotion and Branding such as Central America Branding, International Branding Cartel and 180 South Group in 2016.

In a move to expand his coffee business, Mark Sutton partnered with fashion designer and branding expert, Dewry Bradford – owner of New York-based ASQUI Ventures who connected L7BC to Phase-2 of their enterprising plans to launch Lucky 7 Coffee Brand’s “Coney Island Salt Water Roast” coffee towards the end of Summer 2016. Using the same sand-roasting method created by Chef Chardon in Atlantic City, Dewry will now take the sand from Coney Island and roast the Cameroon Coffee Bean - launching L7BC’s new branded signature coffee “Coney Island Salt Water Roast” in honor of Coney Island’s illustrious history catering to the people.  The team is also establishing a brick and mortar on the boardwalk.  In 2017, Chef Chardon became the "HempStar Chef" and began creating various BBQ Sauce falvors with Dewry as the branding director.  In 2020, Mark and Dewry branded their own CBD alkaline water called Cannaline.  From there, they added flavored water to their list of products.

MISSIONARY LOCALLY:
Mr. Bradford has dedicated his professional life, honing his skills while continually expanding his knowledge of this ever-changing fashion industry.  This process has enabled him to train, motivate and inspire others by providing creative and technical direction to those he’s managed in the past.  Having a diverse background in the design process positioned him to be appointed as the Creative Director of the non-profit organization “Steel Standing Memorial Foundation.”

As he turns his sights to community-based ventures, Mr. Bradford locked in a deal to become the Branding Director of TrueMed which he produced their annual health and wellness event called “Hoops for Health” on the weekend of August 19th – 21st, 2016 in Brooklyn, NY.  This morphed into a new venture which positioned him to launch "Health Jox" where he partnered with Joseph Packer, the founder of the "Coney Island Community Council" to bring awareness to non-bullying, health and wellness, all sports and a Multi-cultural Health and Wellness festival @ Kaiser Park.  This event will be held on August 25th, 2018 along with a Concert Series with Live Nation called "Turnt Up USA".

On September 14th, 2017, Dewry Bradford officially launched his platform for creatives all around the world called "Creative's Cartel" which was designed to showcase incredible talent and share information and resources with Creatives from every field of business and art in the world.  Since then, he curated the official "Haitian Art Exhibit" with IHOM.org and the Brooklyn Borough President - Eric L. MISSIONARY ABROAD:
Mr. Bradford, through his relationship with his home church "Exousia Cathedral" and the Missionary Bishop of Pilgrim Assemblies: Bishop Lestor Bradford, he began missionary work in Antigua, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Haiti and Africa.  Mr. Bradford is the senior editor of the Missionary Magazine called "The Enlightener" which documents all of their work abroad.  Through  Dr. Henri - founder of IHOM.org, he connected with the "Artist Village" which gave him access to talented artists in the Haitian region.

During Dewry Bradford's missionary trip to Antigua - 2019, his Bishop and Father was asked to represent Christianity during Parliament to address the local Corporations wanting to do away with Sundays as a sacred holiday weekly.  This caused Missionary Bishop Lester Bradford to launch the "North American Clergy Council of Antigua and Barbuda".  This organization will focus on certain moral judgments within the legislations in government of Antigua & Barbuda.

MEDIA & PUBLISHING:
In 2012, Dewry Bradford had the vision of creating a media platform with the intent on sharing and selling luxurious items to Customers Worldwide.  Six-years later, during New York Fashion Week in September 2018, he reconnected with Christopher Collie, former Editor-In-Chief of Fashion Week Online, he formed and planned for what would become Luxeportintl.com.   While Mr. Bradford was on his missionary trip to produce the 5th year Anniversary of Prayer Jam on the island of Antigua, Christopher and Dewry build what would be the first 4-versions on www.LuxeportINTL.com. They ended forging a partnership and decided to launch the site on January 1, 2019.  Throught relationships that Mr. Bradford brought to the table, LuxeportINTL (LPI) partnered with NY Fashion Week veteran Francis Hendy to offer exclusive garments to their audience.  Simultaneously, Mr. Collie established a global holiday partnership deal with the Italian accessories brand MUJJO as a thank you to the LPI supporters.

On January 1, 2019, after having a successful website launch, LPI quickly locked-in a deal with Amazon Prime through a channel called AddyMedia (a long time supporter of Christopher Collie's work).  During this time, LPI acquired the exclusive rights to film the documentary of Andy Hilfiger and Greg Polisseni's fashion show and after party during New York Fashion Week 2019.  SInce then, Lpi is a proven platfrom documenting notable NYC events, successful influencers of various industries in America and showcasing incredible talents.
